Kindle Deals

Usually every pay day I buy a couple e-books for our Kindle Fire. I have an ongoing private list on Amazon that I check the prices on, and when they go on sale I snatch them up as fast as I can. I try to never pay more than around $5 for an e-book and never over $10.  Prices go up and down very quickly as far as e-books go and just because it is 70% off today, doesn't mean it will be tomorrow. This week we bought three children's books that the girls have borrowed from the library before and really enjoyed.

First is Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy by Jane O'Connor for $1.99. We have a couple other Fancy Nancy books and the girls love them, but at $12 for the nice hardcover ones, well I kind of hate to hand over the money for them. $1.99 is a great price and now we have it anywhere my Kindle goes.

Second, I bought Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site by Tom Lichtenheld and Sherri Duskey Rinker. This is another steal at $1.99! We borrowed this one from the library a couple weeks ago and it was easily the favorite of the stack we took home. It's a nice quiet book for bedtime and is just long enough to get everyone nice and relaxed (and hopefully to sleep!).

Last is Maisy Goes to the City by Lucy Cousins, which was $2.99. We love Maisy in our house and have found that the simple storyline and pictures keep our 1 year old more interested in staying around to hear the whole story than lots of the other books we have with more complicated story lines.
