Free Coffee

Yesterday was a very cold and rainy day, and unfortunately I had run out of coffee the day before. I headed out to Target to pick up a bag of coffee beans and since I had my empty Starbuck's coffee bag in my purse I went to Starbuck's first to get my free coffee. How can you get free coffee from Starbuck's too? I'll tell you!

Step 1: Purchase a bag of your favorite Starbucks coffee and check the back of the bag. Make sure it has the cup icon and the free coffee offer printed on it.

Step 2: Proceed to drink all of the coffee or dump the beans/grounds into another container so you can get your free coffee sooner.

Step 3: Bring the empty bag into any Starbucks store and exchange it for a free tall brewed coffee. Mmmm!

I'm always amazed that people don't take advantage of this. Yeah, a brewed coffee doesn't cost very much, but why pay for it when you can get it for free?! I spent the next hour drinking my nice hot coffee and enjoying a good book while the rain fell outside. Pretty ideal if you ask me! I don't always buy Starbucks brand coffee to brew at home (in fact the one I bought yesterday was Caribou brand and it is AWESOME!) but if it is on sale, I usually go for it.

Also, I don't know if any of my readers are Sophie Kinsella fans, but this is the first book of hers I have read and I am thoroughly enjoying it! It's a nice easy read and a good change from what I have been reading lately. Perfect for your Summer reading list!

*This post is not in any way sponsored by Starbuck's or Sophie Kinsella. Just a PSA for all you coffee drinkers out there!*
