Wow, this Summer is just flying by! Here's a quick
yarn along post and then tomorrow I will try to post something more substantial.
This past week I read 2 books! When I took this picture I had just started
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon and by the end of the day I had finished it. It was a great book and a nice easy read that kept me interested until the very last page. I highly recommend it. The knit is my
(Doctor) Who? sock which I also finished the same day. I still need to start the second one. (Sorry for the awful cell phone picture!)
I also read
Requiem by Lauren Oliver, the last book in a trilogy about a world where love is a disease and everyone has a treatment when they reach a certain age to alter their brain so they no longer feel love, and of course things go wrong, and well, just read it! I don't want to spoil anything.
This week I also knit a
ruffled scarf to put in the gift pile for Christmas. I hated this yarn and was so glad to be done with the scarf, but I think it will make a wonderful present for someone who I will not name in case they read my blog. ;-)
