Yarn Along

Almost a month between blog posts? Yikes! Life has been pretty busy around here, and I have 2 more posts in the works that should be up within the next few days. For now, here's a quick Yarn Along update!

I started knitting the Gap-tastic Cowl about 2 weeks ago on the way to a Civil War Reenactment (the subject of one of the upcoming posts). It is supposed to be 15" wide, but I think mine will be around 10-12" when I run out of yarn. I am calling mine the Chancellorsville Cowl, because that is the battle we watched at the reenactment.

I just finished reading La's Orchestra Saves the World by Alexander McCall Smith last night. I really liked this book. After a fast paced couple of weeks, this nice slow paced story was just what I needed. Next up on my reading list is Someday, Someday, Maybe by Lauren Graham (yes, the actress Lauren Graham for all you Gilmore Girls fans out there) which I'm excited to start reading tonight.
