Yarn Along

As usual, I'm posting my Yarn Along a day late. Better late than never though, right?


I just started reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak on my Kindle. I've heard good things about it and I'm hoping I will have more opportunities to read this week than I did last week.

I am currently knitting Smitten (a holiday garland) which is 24 little mittens strung on a garland to be used as an advent calendar. As of today I have 7 mittens completed, only 17 more to go! At least there is plenty of time to finish it before I will need to use it.

      Thanks! It's a nice easy pattern that is great for using up those pesky little balls of yarn I always seem to have laying around.

    I LOVE the mittens! Can't wait to see them hung! Are each going to be a different color?

      I'm planning on making them all different colors, but I'm not sure I have enough different colors of yarn.
